Our Faculty

Metro Christian Academy has committed Christian teachers in every classroom, presenting instruction from a Christian World View. Our teachers are available and willing to help students before and after school.

All Metro Christian Academy faculty members are certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Our 100+ member faculty, administration, and support staff consists of dedicated Christians from various denominations. These individuals not only serve as a Christian example to our Metro families, but also to their communities, as well as their respective churches. Over one-third of the faculty holds a Masters Degree or higher, with an average of nineteen years teaching experience per an advanced degree.

Metro prides itself on maintaining small class sizes, averaging an 18.5:1 student to teacher ratio, and offering a challenging college preparatory curriculum through basic, honors, and advanced placement courses. Teachers maintain grades and lesson plans weekly, which are available for parental review through our parent website, Edline. Parental contact is encouraged and sought with all teachers having email access and phones in the classroom.

Professional guidance counselors and academic advisors are available at the secondary level. These dedicated professionals work with each student to prepare them for a successful transition from high school to the next level of education.
