Monitoring Individual Education Plan (504)
A monitoring IEP (504) is available for those students who do not need special DIC class placement, but do need accommodations in the regular, mainstream classes. These accommodations may include extended time on exams, testing in a non-distracting environment and copies of instructors’ notes or a peer note-taker. A complete diagnostic evaluation must document the need for monitoring and an additional fee is charged. The IEP is written at the start of each school year or at the parent’s request during the school year.
