Metro Christian Academy is operated by the tuition paid by the parents and by gifts from interested groups or individuals. One area of gifts is the Tuition Assistance Grant Fund. This fund provides grants to students based upon their financial need and is limited to the actual funds that are budgeted. Tuition Assistance Grants are given to students only to supplement what the parents are able to pay. Due to the limited grant money that is available, we ask that parents request assistance at a minimal level. The basic criterion for consideration for financial aid and scholarships is an Adjusted Gross Income of:

• $79,000   for a family with one child at Metro
• $86,250   for a family with two children at Metro
• $93,500   for a family with three children at Metro
• $100,625 for a family with four children at Metro

The Tuition Assistance/Grant Committee has the discretion to make allowances for families with more than four children.

The Tuition Assistance Grant Committee will consider an applicant only after receiving required documentation and application. The deadline for submitting your application is April 2nd and notification of the grant will be made by April 16th. All information, data, and action of the committee will be held in strict confidence.

Please note that this application is for one year only, and reapplication for successive financial aid and scholarships is required.
