Elementary Bible Curriculum

Beginning in P3 classes and onto 5th grade, each Elementary class starts the day with prayer and a devotional/ bible time.  The Bible lessons include a weekly Bible verse or passage.  The curriculum materials are from Christian Schools International and other devotional materials. The scripture texts are primarily from the New International Version of the Bible. Older elementary students memorize scripture verses for a weekly grade.

The Bible is studied as God’s story with students learning about major people of the Bible and the events related to them. It is not merely a historical document, but rather as a living Word from the living God to his people. Students learn that God is our Creator and Heavenly Father; Jesus is God’s Son and our Savior who died on the cross for the remission of our sins; and the Holy Spirit is The Comforter who came after Jesus and empowers us for Godly living.  Students are also presented with the basic tenets of the Christian faith including repentance, faith and discipleship.
