Overview

We at Metro Christian are driven by our faith in Jesus Christ to give your children the best education possible. Committed to the Christian perspective of meeting the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of your children, our campus ministry begins with well-trained, biblically sound teachers and staff. From preschool to High School, the bible is incorporated into our students’ curriculum and all of our students attend Chapel, an inter-denominational worship service each week.

Whether it’s preschoolers spreading Christmas cheer by singing to a group of senior citizens at a nursing home to, elementary kids putting together shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child or our High School kids giving of their time at the local homeless shelter, we encourage our students to take the message of the bible out into the world by serving others and going beyond themselves.

Metro Christian is a partnership with parents. That partnership includes parents being welcome to attend Chapel with their children at each grade level or participate as sponsors and spiritual leaders within every aspect of the school. Parents are present on mission trips—locally and abroad. There is a weekly Dad’s prayer time and moms are encouraged to participate in the Mom’s in Touch International ministry which also meets each week. Our Headmaster, Tim Cameron, also takes and shares weekly prayer requests via our email system so that we can be in prayer for one another at all times. It is important and comforting to know that specific children, families and staff are being prayed for throughout the year.
