Staff Positions
Information System Specialist
Under the supervision of the Technology Director, the Information Systems Specialist directs the efforts of training school personnel in the development and implementation of the student information software (PCR) and the development and implementation of new technology used in classrooms and offices. This position also oversees the training and ongoing maintenance of web based programs used throughout the school. The qualified candidate reviews, responds to, and resolves Level 1 and 2 HelpDesk Tickets. 

To be considered, applicant should have a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on information technology, and three to five years of computer technology experience and project or product management experience, preferred. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and/or A+ Certification, preferred.

After School Program Aide
The After School Program Aide provides oversight to students participating in Metro's After School Programs. The candidate must work well with children and youth ages 3 years to 8th grade, have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills, and be patient and energetic. Aides should be able to give and receive instruction, as well as work independently.

Sixth Grade: Earth Science with STEM Elective
Responsibilities: A lab-based Earth Science curriculum with an emphasis using inquiry and STEM methodology. The main topics include: Geology, Astronomy, Meteorology, and Ecology; while building a foundation of lab skills and techniques. In addition, this position will include a nine-week elective rotation teaching a STEM-based introduction to engineering.

Substitute Teachers

Metro Christian Academy is in need of certified and non-certified substitute teachers that are willing to serve in a classroom and execute prepared lesson plans.
