Staff Positions
Security Guard
The Security Guard position is responsible for the safety and security of all students, staff, and patrons on Metro property, provides security for scheduled activities and athletic events, and monitors traffic entering and leaving the building.

To be considered, applicant should have a High School Diploma and one year's experience working in law enforcement/security. Must be armed CLEET certified and have a valid driver's license. This position is twelve-month, 40hrs/wk, Monday - Friday, 6:45AM - 3:15PM. Some weekends and varying work schedules may be required depending on the activities within the school.

After School Program Aide
The After School Program Aide provides oversight to students participating in Metro's After School Programs. The candidate must work well with children and youth ages 3 years to 8th grade, have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills, and be patient and energetic. Aides should be able to give and receive instruction, as well as work independently.

Teaching Positions for the 2017-2018 School Year

Sixth Grade: Earth Science with STEM Elective
Responsibilities: A lab-based Earth Science curriculum with an emphasis using inquiry and STEM methodology. The main topics include: Geology, Astronomy, Meteorology, and Ecology; while building a foundation of lab skills and techniques. In addition, this position will include a nine-week elective rotation teaching a STEM-based introduction to engineering.

Substitute Teachers

Metro Christian Academy is in need of certified and non-certified substitute teachers that are willing to serve in a classroom and execute prepared lesson plans.
