TUITION AND TUITION ASSISTANCE INFORMATION
As an independent Christian school, Metro Christian Academy is unaffiliated with any particular church, denomination, or religious entity and does not receive funding from local, state, or federal governments. Metro is operated entirely by the tuition paid by the families of students and by the generous contributions of groups or individuals who desire to support the mission and programs of the school. We are proud to partner with the Oklahoma Opportunity Scholarship Fund in conjunction with our tuition assistance program to provide financial support to lower and middle-income families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive a private school education.

TUITION ASSISTANCE:
Tuition Assistance is awarded on the basis of a demonstrated need for financial assistance. In general, need is based upon a factor of the applicant's previous calendar year's Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), the number of children they have enrolled in Metro, and any special circumstances, including recent job loss or changes in income not reflected in the previous years' AGI. All special circumstances to be considered must be presented in writing with a detailed explanation of current financial conditions. Additional criteria for Tuition Assistance considerations include Academics, Recommendations, and Other Requirements listed here.

Applicants to the school cannot be considered for Financial Aid until they have been approved for admissions and paid a non-refundable deposit. Accepted and enrolled students may apply for Financial Aid by completing the necessary application process and by meeting the criteria for each specific award stated herein.

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROCESS AND TIMELINE:
Families seeking assistance with their tuition must file an application, including all supplemental documentation, through the Independent School Management's Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) Program. The first deadline for submission of tuition assistance applications will be March 15. At that time, Metro will award most of the tuition assistance awards so that families will know the amount of their award earlier to make appropriate arrangements for their remaining tuition requirements. Metro provides a second deadline to submit applications, which is April 15. Please note that tuition assistance is awarded on an annual basis only. Click here  for the complete Tuition Assistance Process.

VARIOUS OTHER SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
Throughout the years of Metro Christian Academy's existence, certain scholarships funds have been established to assist qualifying students with their tuition or program expenses. As of January 2017, the following scholarships are available for application:

The Josh Lantz Memorial Scholarship
The Caleb
Taggerty Memorial Scholarship
The ELPIS Foundation Scholarship
